Hello! My name is Jeanni Castro, mother to River Belle, and here's my story. Over the summer, going in my senior year of high school, I got pregnant by someone I had known since middle school. I found out a month later and I didn't know what to do. I contemplated hiding it from my parents and having an abortion, but later that night when I was going to bed, I knew I had to have this baby. I immediately told her biological father and started preparing for my little girl to enter this world. A week or so later, I told my father. I transferred high schools my first week into senior year to a school with a teen parent program, found a birth center with amazing midwifes along with a doula, an acupuncturist, a chiropractor, a birth photographer, a hypnobirthing instructor, and enrolled in 2 Christian based programs to help expecting mothers.

 

At the end  of the day, I am here to share my story and help others who are currently in similar situations that I was in, as well as helping them find the best resources for their desired child birthing experience. As a single mother since the day my daughter was conceived, to continuing my education in high school and college, to becoming a teen mother, to veering away from the norm and having a natural child birth, I am here for you!
